Schultz Medical Transcription Service
Overview
Schultz Medical Transcription
Service has been operating at our present location in Bristol, Rhode Island for over twelve years. All of our equipment is housed, operated and maintained within this location. We do not use any second party transcription service and our employees accomplish all of the transcription.
We operates two Dictaphone
Enterprise Express voice recording dictation/transcription systems that are phone line based and can handle up to twenty
four providers dictating at one time. One of these systems can also handle any number
of dictators via the Internet. In addition, we operate a DVI voice recording dictation/transcription system that
is Internet based using a secure FTP site with 128-bit encryption. This system
does not limit the number of dictators able to dictate simultaneously.
Our staff and management
team are completely knowledgeable with the VA’s VPN/VISTA system and have been entering Discharge Summaries and Op notes
for VA Medical Centers. We are also knowledgeable with Dictaphone Download Systems
and Telnet Remote Transcription Systems.
Our staff and management
team are completely knowledgeable with DoD’s CHCS system and have been entering radiology reports, clinic notes and
consultations into CHCS for both Air Force and Navy hospitals. We are completely
knowledgeable with DoD support software utilized such as, or compatible with, WAWF, KEA!, Persona, PCAnyWhere, MyAttachmate
and other communication, emulation and data entry programs.
All medical treatment facility
providers and necessary staff are given instruction and training to ensure a seamless transition to the equipment being provided
